i can't believe i've been gone so long! *very apologetic* after swim team ended, i just got swamped with my AP and SAT tests, and stupid last-minute projects. no excuse, i know, but i'm back!

i've only got 3 more half-days of school, and 4 finals, then summer's here! *dance* i'm mostly just worried about my math and physics finals, but hopefully they'll go ok. then i have drawing and french, but those are easy-breezy.

i finally have all my artwork back, so i have a couple of things to submit. i think it'll be easy to see that i have definitely improved this year, with drawing anyway. i've discovered that i really love charcoal, and i tried some chalk pastels, which i could get into. still not too fond of painting, however.

my art teacher told me about a silent auction being held next fall that i could put some of my work in, so i'm excited about that. i'll have the summer to create some new stuff, since there's only about one thing i might want to put in right now.

well, i'm off to submit my new artworks. hopefully the picture quality is ok- i had to take digital pics since they're too big for my scanner. i'm not great with cameras, so
